What to do when social network tokens expire and how to reconnect.

🔄 Re-Authenticating Expired Tokens

Social networks (especially Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn) require periodic OAuth token renewal for security.

When Does a Token Expire?

  • If you change your social media account password.
  • After 60 days of inactivity on Meta (Instagram/Facebook) APIs.
  • If administrative permissions on a connected Page are modified.

Resolution Steps

  1. Go to Social Media > Accounts.
  2. Look for accounts displaying a yellow ⚠️ Reconnect Required warning.
  3. Click Reconnect and approve the OAuth dialog.
  4. Go to Calendar and click Retry Post on any posts that failed during the expired period.
